Dr. Jennifer Vega is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School. Her scientific interests lie in combining neuroscience, clinical psychology, and cutting-edge tech that offers
new pathways for cancer-survivorship care.
I first met Dr. Vega while I was in graduate school and she was a postdoc researcher at Vanderbilt. We were in a workshop learning to write teaching statements and bonded over our similar graduate experiences. I then went on to interview her for my blog, and ever since then, she’s been my ride or die.
I am fortunate to have a friend who believes in my ability and expertise, and I am honored to have designed her website to help establish her as a new, legitimate faculty member in clinical neuroscience.
