Challenge
Dr. Jennifer Vega is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School. When Dr. Vega launched her research program focused on new paths to cognitive recovery after cancer, she needed a digital presence that reflected the optimism, humanity, and scientific credibility of her work while establishing her as a faculty leader in clinical neuroscience.
What I Did
I partnered with Dr. Vega to design and build a custom, brand-aligned 4-page Squarespace website that centers her research, values, and visual identity. This included strategic copyediting to clarify complex scientific concepts for diverse audiences; curated imagery that visually communicates hope and cognitive growth; custom logo design, color palette, and brand kit development; thoughtful layout and CSS refinements; and overall brand storytelling that feels inviting, hopeful, and purposeful.
Outcome
The final site provides Dr. Vega with a polished, professional home for her lab’s work that supports academic legitimacy, public accessibility, and personal connection. It elevates her scientific profile, helps her communicate research goals with clarity and warmth, and positions her lab as a hopeful, human-centered force in cancer survivorship neuroscience.
